The title screen logo has been remade in 3D and rendered in crispy 4K resolution! New UI textures & remade font texture! There are several new icons for items as well, and some which have been generously contributed by Thanks! The bug where some items would not display HD icons (such as the slingshot and ball & chain) has also been fixed (most likely, it's a deceivingly complex bug to fix!) New title screen logo! New textures for both Link and Wolf Link in higher resolutions, including the shields and swords, which are now more faithful to the original art style and color palette as well! New item icons!

can reduce your motivation to make a texture pack for the GameCube / Wii version. Especially since Nintendo themselves made a HD port for the Wii U (idea to Nintendo, port it to the Switch as well) which.

It is just the way how it went.Īs I have mentioned previously in this thread, high expectations and high ambitions rarely pay off for a free project. Keep in mind I don't any intentions to talk ill about them. It is really a shame that the texture pack has been dropped because of their increasing ambitions. Sadly besides the texture pack, their extended idea's never came to fruition. It just became too much for them and the team fell apart due disagreements and such.

They should have remained to making a texture pack. It started out as a texture pack, but it quickly turned into a mod with additional dungeons, hard mode and what else and then it turned into a complete remake from scratch. Nah, I don't think Nintendo was being the issue here but rather the team having too much expectations and ambitions.
